An Insight Into Our Glass Company
In 1958, our history begins. We started out as Crittenden Paint. Thanks to a big wind storm in the early 1960’s the glass portion of our business arose out of the need to repair the damage and serve our community. Like any business, we have made changes over the years to stay current with our customer's needs.
We got out of the paint and decorating business in the early 2000’s, and more than 60 years after our founding we are still focused on serving the community with our expert glass service.
Our founder, Charles (Critt) Crittenden taught us good old-fashioned customer service with a smile, and continued to work 40 hours a week until he passed away at the age of 93. We continue his legacy and standard with an enthusiastic dedication to the job.

About "Crit" Charles Crittenden
After coming out West to Utah during World War II, “Critt”fell in love with the people and the area. After much hard work, the opportunity presented itself to start own his own business.
“My goal is to make a friend, and keep them for a lifetime,” is a famous line from our founder. At Crittenden Glass, we strive to carry on that quest. By providing quality products, professional installation, and friendly service, we hope to keep you and your family and friends coming back year after year.

Three-and-a-half generations later, our family-owned and -operated business continues to make the homes and businesses in our area more beautiful. Having gathered much knowledge about the various kinds of glass installations, we have been able to provided the Ogden area with quality glass services for residential and commercial properties for over 60 years!
You'll be happy to know that our glass installers are true professionals that work solely for us, and are not independent contractors, like the box stores. This enables us to always stay true to the quality of our work.
